Greetings everyone! Salutations. So, I was talking with Snake about it amd we've decided that it would be best if /chat/ had a home owner's association sort of approach when it comes to posting on ponychan.

We will now have a committee where users will be able to vote who is apart of the board and who is not. We feel this is the best way moving forward to ensure quality posts, and that everyone's need is key within the community!

In addition, there will be a new set of rules enforced in addition to our current set for ponychan's global policy:

Policy in the past has always been to err on the side of lenience. In so doing, however, we moved the goalposts too far, and have gone past lenience and into negligence. Effective immediately, a new enforcement policy will be in place: one that is simple and easy to understand.

Moderators will be given much more autonomy to act on the rules. The rules themselves will be vastly simplified, as you shall soon see. The first rules offense a user makes will generally be considered with a warning in thread, publicly visible. The second rules offense a user makes will generally be considered a short ban. And the third rules offense and after will invite any ban, up to and including a permaban, that a staff member feels is fit.

Please note that this is a guideline, and that a moderator will have leeway to even permaban on first offense, depending on the situation, from here on out. Moderators will

It is and 80 years ago being gay was terrible while being atracted to children was no biggy. My point is that these kids who are stalking Mikee finds the worst possible denominator and then tries to get a rouse out of him which seems pretty simple.
The only good thing that can come out of the situation is if Mikee learns how to just live with it.

If this is some "Morality is subjective" appeal, then I find it to be low hanging fruit. Yes, everything is subjective when it comes to morality.

But I can objectively hate you for it while feeling justified. There's a difference between two concerting adults that were born biologically the same sex who decide to have sex with another another, and the predatory act of an adult coercing, tricking, taking advantage of, or outright raping a kid.

I'm not gonna be one of those people to say it's worse than unprovoked murder, let's not be ridiculous. But it's not good.

Look look look. People who go after pedos the right way don't fricking doxx them and rage bait them on some online forum. It's the best they can get out of Mikees situation when all he does is liking cartoon foxes openly.

Cooking Nonny No.27026[Reply][+50]

Had steak and eggs and I figured I'd make a food thread with a bit of story time.

This is just a small piece of the steak I cooked up.

See Snake and I have a wager that the next time we see each other in person, we're gonna have a cook off.

Snake naturally thinks he's gonna win. (He's not) He literally told me today that that to make a good sandwich all you need are two pieces of bread, a slice of ham, and a slice of swiss cheese. What a miserable excuse for a sandwich

Meanwhile Nonny is eating a perfectly cooked Blue-Rare steak with a touch of Himalayan pink salt, three over easy eggs, and toast. I mean just look at that puuuuurrfectly seared piece of meat. It's juices sealed into and seeping within the blood-red meat.

Were you amazed by this counterexample found last month?

F1 = (1 + x*y)^3 * z + y^2 * (1 + x*y) * (4 + 3*x*y)
F2 = y + 3*x * (1 + x*y)^2 * z + 3*x * y^2 * (4 + 3*x*y)
F3 = 2*x - 3*x^2*y - x^3*z

Homeowners Associations (HOAs) are often misunderstood, leading to common myths that don’t reflect reality. One myth is that HOAs exist only to enforce strict rules—but in fact, they are designed to maintain property values and enhance community living. Another misconception is that HOA fees are unnecessary; however, these fees fund essential services like landscaping, amenities, and maintenance. Some believe HOAs limit freedom, but they actually create consistent standards that benefit all residents. Understanding the facts helps homeowners see the true purpose of an HOA: fostering a well-maintained, safe, and enjoyable neighborhood for everyone.

Also this image is a really bad argument for HOAs, only the second point actually tries to disprove the points the "myth" it's addressing.

The first and last one don't disprove the myth, they actually affirm that the myth is correct, the "Fact" just looks at it from a different perspective.

The HOA does indeed only exist to enforce strict rules, the thing is those rules have a purpose and are supposedly good for the overall health of the neighborhood.

The HOA does indeed limit personal freedom, but just like the first point, it does so because it's attempting to create an environment that benefits everyone.

So those aren't really "Myths" by any means, but rather just disagreements. People who don't think the rules are necessary or that the lack of personal freedom is a downside and not worth the desired end result, will not like an HOA no matter how well the HOA is ran.

The only one that really is a "Myth" by any means of the word is the second one. The HOA fees are supposedly necessary. They are there in theory to pay for things to make the neighborhood better or cleaner. In practice that's not always the case.

For every one person you see talking about how great their HOA is, you see a dozen people talking about how the HOA doesn't live up to the standards of a good HOA.

Just not a really good image.
